Physician Family Media

“The needs can be overwhelming to an individual, but the collective power of our physician family community can make a huge difference.”    -Jayme Shelton

If anything good has emerged from the global pandemic in which we’ve been immersed for the past 18 months, it could be that we’ve all rediscovered the vital importance of WORKING TOGETHER:
WORKING TOGETHER within the practice of medicine and delivery of health care.
WORKING TOGETHER within our communities.
WORKING TOGETHER within our families and circle of friends.
WORKING TOGETHER all around our world to provide support and hope to others….

Working together might look different than it did in the past—but we’ve found ways to work together even when we can’t be in the same physical space. We’ve tapped into humanity’s innovative spirit to find ways to maintain connections, even as we recognize the deleterious effects of losing old ways to connect.

This issue of Physician Family/Alliance in Motion Magazine pays tribute to our resilience and all the ways we’ve found to work together, while offering tools to help us navigate a positive path, to hopefully emerge stronger.

You can read this valuable “go-to” guide for medical families online anywhere, any time as a FREE GIFT from the AMA Alliance! Here at Physician Family Magazine we “get” your life in a physician family. Each issue focuses on a relevant theme, covering the issues and challenges faced by physician families with special emphasis on the four stages of life in medicine – medical school, residency and fellowship (aka “the training years”) active practice and retirement.

Physician Family Magazine now includes Alliance in Motion Magazine as a bonus! Both are published by the American Medical Association Alliance, the nation’s largest network of physician families, connecting physician families for healthier communities since 1922. AMA Alliance members receive hard copies in the mail as a member benefit!

Joining is easy.
